Your post brought to mind our vacation rental experience this summer. Our hostess went over and above to make our stay delightful by anticipating all possible needs and providing for them. Besides a well-stocked kitchen and extra towels and beach chairs and boogie boards (and plenty of toilet paper!), she provided things I didn't even know I would need. For example, when I brought back flowers from the Farmer's Market I expected to just put them in a drinking glass; but, no, there were vases and scissors in the cottage. Besides being impressed and grateful, it nourished my spirit to be on the receiving end of such thoughtfulness. And it challenged me to "pass it on" to others in my life. "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it heartily, as for the Lord."
